Dionysus
About Face Dionysus Matte Fluid Eye Paint ($16.00 for 0.15 oz) is a deeper pink with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish.
- Covering pigmentation in one layer
- Fluid, light consistency that was creamy but not too watery
- Applied evenly and was blendable, pretty easy to use
- Long-lasting (12 hours)
formula overview
$16.00/0.15oz. – $106.67 per ounce
The formula is said to have a “bold, buildable pigment” that’s “easy to apply” and has a “no-budget, no-wmudge finish.” The liquid eyeshadow has a light, runny consistency that felt like a mixture of water and gel, which allowed the product to glide over my skin, blending evenly but not tending to settle into fine lines. Most shades were pigmented with little product, but some shades were more semi-opaque.
They dry out fairly quickly so I would recommend working one area at a time if more diffused/blended areas are desired. It would also be wise to go in with your fingertips or a fluffy brush to spread out the edges if you want to apply the product all over the lid. The pigmentation, consistency and drying time made them suitable for eyeliner and more graphic eyeshadow shapes/lines.
Once set they were fairly smudge proof and lasted 12 hours on me without fading or wrinkles when worn as eyeshadow and 12 hours as eyeliner.

Lost and found
About Face Lost Unfound Matte Fluid Eye Paint ($16.00 for 0.15 oz) is a deep inky blue with cool undertones and a matte finish. It appeared almost black when applied straight from the tube, but in practice it was a lighter, deeper blue with plenty of richness. It had a slightly translucent quality that applied and diffused compared to that initial brushing – this is also one I wouldn’t just “brush” onto and use a separate brush to apply and build on as needed.
