The event was held to celebrate the new I’m Me campaign about Australian women’s attitudes towards ageing.
Chrissie recently revealed she feels like “a different person” after losing half her body weight during the Covid pandemic.
Chrissie has drastically changed her body in the last year and cites a new diet, daily walks and sobriety as the secret behind her weight loss.
After reportedly losing 90kg since lockdown began, she briefly addressed her weight loss in an interview with The Australian Women’s Weekly last year.

She said the “huge” lifestyle changes she’s made over the past 12 months have improved her life in many ways.
“I’m not going to talk about the size of my ass,” she said.
“I’m not going to tell you what I eat in a day. Because I’ve read these stories and they make me feel bad.”
However, she did confirm that Melbourne’s protracted Covid lockdown was the catalyst for her health and fitness rush.
“We couldn’t go out to dinner, we couldn’t go to friends’ houses, they couldn’t come to ours, we couldn’t go three miles,” she said.
“All we could do was run, and I did that.”
In another interview with The Herald Sun, Chrissie said she felt great and had never been happier as she approached 50.
“I’ve never been happier or more centered. It’s really great and I don’t think you can feel like that until you’re past the years. I wouldn’t be 20 for pounds,” she said.
