Tower 28 Party Hour BeachPlease Tinted Lip & Cheek Balm ($20.00 for 0.158 ounces) is a lighter medium pink-lavender with moderate warm undertones and a natural finish. As a lip product, it was wearable and comfortable enough, but didn’t last particularly long (two hours).

formula overview
$20.00/0.158oz. – $126.58 per ounce
The formula is said to have “buildable color” with a “luminous, second-skin finish” that can be applied to lips and cheeks. They appear quite pigmented at first but offer buildable coverage rather than intense coverage as the moderately softening consistency wears off quickly in practice. This is probably what most people want their cream blush to do as it makes the formula easier to work with as it blends well, but can also be easily applied if needed for more coverage.
As a cream blush, the finish was moist, but it had dried up and no longer felt smooth, resulting in longer staying power on my skin. The formula is reminiscent of a cream blush, which is exactly what I would recommend it for. They applied evenly to bare skin and over foundation, and blended well as they didn’t lift the base products. On most shades, they lasted about eight hours before fading on me – not slipping.
As a lip product, the finish was less moist and looked more satin. They are weaker as a lip product than a cream blush, as the product had more of a tendency to flake along my lip line or reveal imperfections with moderate wear. They were comfortable to wear as they were thin but not huggable and the color lasted two to three hours. As a lip product, I didn’t find it moisturizing.
